Rough Paper Wood Oil for Dinnerware & Cutting Boards

Made with all-natural food-grade fractionated coconut oil and Japanese yuzu essential oil; the ingredients are safe and non-toxic, making it safer for wooden tableware maintenance.

Storage: Please store in a cool, dry place

Purpose: Wood oil penetrates into the wood to form a protective layer, preventing the wood from mildew, cracking, and deformation. Maintained wooden items will have a natural luster and clearer grain.

How to use: Apply a thin layer of Wood Oil with a clean cotton cloth or sponge, spread evenly, and wait for 12-24 hours for the wood to absorb. After the first layer of oil has dried, apply another layer, repeating this process at least 2-3 times to ensure the entire wooden item absorbs sufficient oil. After application, wait for 24 hours for the wood to dry, then wipe off any excess oil.

※ Please perform maintenance only when the wooden item is clean and dry.

※ Do not apply too much wood oil at once, as the wood may not absorb it effectively.

※ It is recommended to use Wood Butter after oiling to cover the wood pores, forming a waterproof and stain-resistant surface for enhanced protection.

※ The protective layer will gradually diminish with the use and cleaning of the wooden item; regular maintenance will make the wooden item more durable.

Features： Our wood oil can apply to all species of wood, it penetrates into the surface of the wood, protecting it from cracking splitting and warping. It also gives protection to reduce wood exposure to water & moisture.

Application：Wipe thin layer on, dry for 12-24 hours. Once the previous layer has dried, wipe another thin layer on, probably 2-3 coat of oil is your optimum. Let dry 24 hours, wipe off the rest oil.

※ Please wipe the dust off and make sure the wood is totally dry before application.

※ Being careful not to use too much wood oil at a time or it won’t sink in.

※ Wood Butter can be use after the wood oil application, it will increase sheen and give extra protection for the wood.

※ Protection of wood oil / wood wax will decrease while the wooden cutting board / dinnerware used or cleaned for serval times. Apply a new coat to protect for your wooden things to keep it more durable.
