Seasoning the pot before first use makes it more durable!
[ Seasoning ]
1 / Prepare rice water from 2 cups of washed rice (soybean flour water or wheat flour water can also be used as a substitute)
2 / Pour the rice water into the pot until about 80% full, then bring to a boil over heat.
3 / After boiling, let it cool, then pour out the rice water and wash the pot.
4 / After washing the ceramic pot, wipe the inside and outside dry, then air dry naturally.
[ Cleaning and Maintenance ]
/ Avoid leaving leftover food in the pot for a long time, as it can cause mold.
/ After use, ensure the ceramic pot has cooled before washing.
Rinsing a hot ceramic pot with cold water may cause cracks.
/ If food burns during cooking, soak it in warm water.
After the stuck-on part softens, clean it with a dishcloth that won't scratch the pot.
/ If warm water soaking still doesn't clean it, add water and heat on low heat.
Allow the stuck-on part to soften, then let the pot cool before washing.
/ After cleaning, be sure to air dry before storing.
[ Precautions ]
Placing the pot on heat while the bottom is wet may cause cracking.
Do not place a hot pot on cold surfaces like tiles or stainless steel countertops.
Do not dry-burn the pot or lid.
Not suitable for deep-frying food.
Not suitable for IH induction cooktops.
Do not use metal scrubbers or abrasive cleaners, as they may scratch the pot's surface.
