Seasoning the pot before first use can make it more robust and durable!
[ Seasoning ]
1 / Prepare 2 cups of rice water (can be substituted with bean flour water or wheat flour water)
2 / Pour rice water into the pot until it's about 80% full, then bring to a boil
3 / After boiling, let it cool, then discard the rice water and clean the pot
4 / After cleaning the ceramic pot, wipe dry the inside and outside, then air dry completely
[ Cleaning and Maintenance ]
/ Avoid leaving leftover food in the pot for extended periods, as it can cause mold
/ After use, ensure the ceramic pot has cooled down before cleaning
Rinsing a hot ceramic pot with cold water may cause cracks
/ If food burns during cooking, soak it in warm water
After softening the burnt parts, clean with a non-abrasive dishwashing sponge
/ If warm water soaking is not enough, add water and heat on low heat
to soften the burnt parts, then clean once the pot has cooled
/ Always air dry thoroughly after cleaning before storing
[ Precautions ]
Placing the pot on heat when its bottom is still wet may cause it to crack
Do not place a hot pot on cold surfaces such as tiles or stainless steel countertops
Do not dry-heat the pot or lid
Not suitable for deep-frying food
Not suitable for IH induction cookers
Do not use metal scrubbers or abrasive cleaners, as they may scratch the pot's surface
