🌲Unused wooden lids may emit a natural woody scent, which might transfer to food during use. The scent will gradually dissipate with use.

🌲Some wooden items have been treated with beeswax oil for basic maintenance. There may be a slight sticky feeling when unboxing; simply wipe off any excess beeswax oil with a tissue. The protective layer on wooden items will diminish with washing and use. Regularly applying wood oil and wood wax can maintain the wood's oiliness and prevent cracking.
